Our story
Built in Wasaga Beach. Trusted Across South Georgian Bay.
Mighton Construction began as a sole proprietorship in 1992 and incorporated as Mighton Construction Limited in 2006. Based in Wasaga Beach, we have built our reputation on premium custom homes, meaningful renovations, and clear project management across South Georgian Bay and Simcoe County.
We are not a handyman service or a volume builder. We intentionally limit the number of projects we take on so that each client receives direct attention, honest communication, and the level of care their project deserves.
Our services include custom homes, home additions, whole-home renovations, kitchen and bathroom renovations, basements, PVC and composite decks, ICF construction, custom cottages and waterfront homes, and church construction.
We are also affiliated with our sister company, Mighton's Well Services, which provides water well drilling and servicing across the region — so homeowners building on rural and estate lots can coordinate their water supply alongside the build.

A limited number of projects
We intentionally cap how much we take on so Jeff and Adam stay personally involved in every single project.
Permits, done properly
Every project is permitted and inspected. We manage building departments and conservation authorities on your behalf.
Clear, honest communication
Realistic budgets, realistic timelines, and prompt answers. We respond to serious enquiries within 1–2 business days.

Church Construction Legacy
400+ church projects since 1967
Our church construction experience traces back to 1967, when Don Hawkey, Adam Mighton's maternal grandfather, founded Don Hawkey Construction. That legacy continued through Hawkey Church Management and through Jeff Mighton's decades of church construction experience. Today, Mighton Construction carries that family legacy forward with more than 400 church projects completed across Ontario.
We are a Christian family company. We understand the unique needs of pastors, elders, trustees, boards, and building committees. Our preferred approach is construction management with open-book budgeting, design coordination, and practical oversight that helps churches steward resources wisely.
Our church work has included Pentecostal, United, Presbyterian, Catholic, Brethren in Christ, Missionary, and other congregations. We are comfortable working with a wide range of denominations.

Jeff Mighton
Founder & President
Jeff founded Mighton Construction with a vision of delivering premium homes, renovations, and construction management with craftsmanship and care. His leadership and church construction experience have shaped the company into a trusted builder across Simcoe County and South Georgian Bay.
Adam Mighton
Chief Operating Officer & Project Manager
Adam combines his CPA background with construction project management, helping clients understand budgets, timelines, scope, and decisions. He supports clear communication and organised project delivery from planning through completion.
Nicholas Langman
Site Supervisor & Carpenter
Nicholas is known for detail-oriented craftsmanship, problem-solving skills, and strong customer service. He helps manage projects with care and precision on site.
Klem Knezacek
Carpenter
Klem brings cabinet-making experience, finish carpentry skill, and a precise approach to kitchens, decks, doors, windows, and custom renovation details.
