Do you build pressure-treated decks?

Pressure-treated decks are not something we build. Mighton Construction focuses exclusively on PVC and composite decking materials, which offer better durability, lower maintenance, stronger resistance to Ontario weather, and a longer lifespan than pressure-treated lumber.

Pressure-treated lumber is cheaper on day one. It also moves, checks, and greys, and it wants sanding and re-staining every few seasons. On a Georgian Bay property, with wind off the water and a full freeze-thaw cycle every year, that maintenance burden arrives faster than most homeowners expect.

PVC and composite boards cost more up front and then largely leave you alone.
